Publisher/CEO, founding partner. Patrice has been active in the Catholic press for nearly 30 years and is a nationally recognized expert on religious vocation promotion and trends in vocation discernment. The publications she has launched, acquired, or managed have won numerous awards from the Catholic Press Association and the Associated Church Press, and her own writing, magazine design, and storymapping have been recognized for excellence. Prior to founding TrueQuest, Patrice worked at Claretian Publications as managing editor of U.S. Catholic magazine. During her tenure, she also oversaw communications, public relations, new product development, and was publication liaison to the Claretians National Vocation Office. Patrice has served on the Catholic Press Association board and on numerous communication taskforces for parishes and organizations, including Old St. Patrick’s Church and the Catholic Campus Ministry Association. She has a B.A. in English literature, history, and religious studies from St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN.

Key duties for TrueQuest: Patrice is the public face of TrueQuest, working directly with clients on publishing, marketing, and communication strategies and concepts. In addition to the National Religious Vocation Conference, TrueQuest has provided significant publishing and marketing services to hundreds of nonprofit organizations, including all of the participating religious communities in VISION Vocation Guide as well as A Nun’s Life Ministry, ACTA Publications, Abbey Press, Alexian Brothers, Congregation of Bon Secours, Franciscan Friars of the Atonement, La Leche League, Loyola Press, Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, and Society of the Divine Word. 

Patrice oversees outreach and networking for TrueQuest and manages a highly effective team that continues to produce outstanding products and services. In addition to her executive duties, Patrice is a regular featured columnist of the respected Prepare the Word homily service and a contributing writer to Take Five for Faith. Patrice has been recognized by the Catholic Press and the Associated Church press for her writing and page design.

Marketing consultant, founding partner. Dan has been active in the Catholic press for more than 30 years. He has Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from Fordham University and a Ph.D. from Kansas University. He is an expert in marketing and promotion, particularly in the Catholic market. He served as Marketing Director at National Catholic Reporter for five years, was instrumental in the development of the Hispanic Ministry Resource Center for Claretian Publications, and helped launch and oversaw editorial production of Abbey Press CareNotes for 10 years.

 

Key duties for TrueQuest: Dan helped develop the original concept for an interactive VISION website, spearheaded parish outreach, developed numerous effective marketing plans for TrueQuest products, NRVC resources, and dozens of other clients, including Abbey Press and A Nun’s Life Ministry.

Anne Marie O'Kelley

Director of Production. Anne Marie, an Indiana University grad, honed her skills as a magazine production editor early on is now recognized as one of the best in her field. Her layouts have won numerous awards, and typos and errors in style rarely pass by her careful eyes.

 

Key duties for TrueQuest: Oversees the page layout, design, proof, print and digital production of all of TrueQuest’s publications: including Take Five for Faith, Prepare the Word, and the NRVC's annual VISION Vocation Guide. She works closely with the web programmers in the development and enhancement of all our content management systems.

Managing Editor VISION Vocation Guide/Contributor to Take Five for Faith. Carol is an award-winning writer and editor who been published in national, regional, and local publications. She has been active in the Catholic press for more than 30 years and has been a force all her own in promoting Catholic religious vocations and the professional development of vocation directors. In addition to her work for TrueQuest, she is editor of the HORIZON quarterly journal for the National Religious Vocation Conference.

 

Key duties for TrueQuest: Oversees the editorial planning and commissioning for the annual VISION Vocation Guide and contributes reflections to TrueQuest's award-winning Take Five for Faith publication. 

Alice Camille

Senior contributing writer Prepare the Word/Take Five For Faith. Alice Camille is an author, religious educator, and retreat leader. She received her Master of Divinity degree from the Franciscan School of Theology in Berkeley, where she also served as adjunct faculty in ministry formation, preaching and proclamation. Alice has worked in parishes and campus ministry, supervised a shelter program for homeless women, and been active in ecumenical settings.

 

Key duties for TrueQuest: Writes the weekly Prepare the Word Exploring the Word column and Questions Catholics Ask and is a regular contributor to Take Five for Faith: Daily renewal for busy Catholics.

Jennifer Tomshack

Contributing Editor. Jennifer is a veteran journalist who has written and edited for numerous publications, including U.S. Catholic magazine. She has a Master of Science in Journalism degree from Northwestern University and Bachelor of Arts degree in English from DePaul University. She is a pioneer in online publishing: she helped launch the web version of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch in the early days of the Internet and integrated the new online operation with the print newsroom. She has extensive experience in digital content management, project management, web and print production, web and print design, social media, and search engine optimization.

 

Key duties for TrueQuest: Jennifer manages the VISION events calendar and contributes a monthly column to the award-winning Prepare the Word whole parish evangelization resource as well as reflections for Take Five for Faith
